What challenges are your employees dealing with? Whether it's weight, energy, moods, or lack of physical activity, an Inspire Nutrition corporate workshop can help your employees be at their best. Below are some examples of our corporate workshops. Nonetheless, your workforce is unique. If there is a topic that you are interested in but you do not see it listed below, contact us and we'll work with you to design a session that is tailored to your company's unique workforce, goals and challenges.

Sugar Cravings
Do your employees experience sugar cravings? Does a plate of cookies placed in the kitchen after lunch spark a stampede? Come learn the eight causes of cravings and the ten steps for dealing with them. Also learn about the difference between natural and artificial sweeteners and learn how much added sugar to consume daily. All participants will receive an information and recipe packet.

Grocery Store Tour
Many people typically buy the same foods each shopping trip and often have to throw out food that is no longer fresh. In this workshop, participants will receive a health food store tour while at work! Christina will show participants around her favorite health food store via photos. In the workshop, participants will learn what to look for in the grocery store, be introduced to new foods, learn how to make a great grocery list, and learn how to read labels. Participants will learn how to make successful and sensible food choices while shopping.

Eating for Energy/ Healthy Snacking
The Washington, D.C. business person is busy with meetings, deadlines, networking, phone calls, emails, obtaining new clients, keeping clients happy, and so much more. What does this have to do with healthy eating? Everything! Feeling good, looking good, and having as much energy as possible is critical to being efficient, getting work done and making deals. In this workshop, participants will learn the foods and behaviors that can decrease energy and the top ten ways to increase energy. Participants will also learn how to incorporate healthy snacking into their work day.

The Skinny of Fats and Oils
Did you know oils have different smoke points? Knowing the smoke point of various oils is important because oils begin to break down after a certain temperature. Even olive oil can be damaging to your health if it reaches a certain temperature. There are dozens of different oils out there with various smoke points and health benefits. In this session, employees will learn about different oils such as coconut oil, peanut oil and grape seed oil. Students will also learn about saturated fat, trans fat, and the differences between refined oils and unrefined oils.

Bringing Lunch to Work
It's so easy to buy lunch. But if your employees buy everyday, all those restaurant and deli meals can really be damaging, both to their wallet and their health. Bringing lunch to work doesn't have to mean slapping together a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while running out the door! In this workshop, participants will learn how to make easy, healthy recipes that are a snap to put together on a busy week night, morning or even at the office.

What to Eat to Prevent a Cold
Feeling a cold coming on? Fight back! There are foods you can eat and foods you can avoid to either halt an oncoming cold or shorten its duration. Learn what to drink, what foods thin mucus, what foods can support your immune system and which foods can feed a virus. Learn how to turn your refrigerator into a medicine cabinet!

Easy, Healthy and Cheap
Many people think eating healthy has to be expensive. That myth gets busted here. This workshop is a discussion on how to eat healthy while on a budget. Participants will learn about the healthiest low-cost foods and they will receive ten quick and healthy recipes created especially for busy people on a budget.
